Ronald E. "Rahn" Hayman. February 18, 1961 - November 23, 2017 "We will NEVER 4Get"
FAREWELL MY BUDDY..... "I miss you my Buddy/Brother.... I miss you my Friend......."
On behalf of the entire team at InUrSpirit Radio & Television Broadcasting Network (IBN), let me express sincere condolences on the passing of Ronald E. "Rahn" Hayman, to: his Wife Roberta "Kim", his Children, a host of family members, his Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Family, his Friends, and all whose lives he touched in such a positive way.
I received the news of his passing late Thanksgiving Day while in Virginia attending to important company and personal business. Despite my every effort to get to New Jersey for his Home going, I could not. I sent a Proclamation to be read at the service by an IBN Executive Associate, but she was told time didn't permit. Thus, I'm sending and releasing this "for all".
Rahn selflessly devoted over fifteen years of his, advanced educational achievements, "street knowledge, numerous talents, and sensitivity for the disadvantaged, in particular, Youth and Senior Citizens, to the IBN mission to provide "positive, family-oriented programming", AND,
He served with, and/or represented IBN on Community Boards, at meetings, in production sessions (studio & on-location), and at a wide range of other events, with professionalism and distinction, AND,
He consistently displayed his professional, positive, posture and demeanor, in his IBN role as an Independent Sr.Executive Producer, Radio & TV Show Host, Director, Journalist, Poet, Writer, and Trainer, AND,
Rahn was a positive role model to Youth and ALL people regardless of race, creed, religion, culture, or color, and provided insight, wisdom, and leadership, to IBN and the community it serves, AND,
He was, without dispute, the most passionate, effective, advocate, and champion for Independent Artists, AND
He was a professional, personable, and effective, Council Member for the Borough of Roselle.
Rahn was so much more to me than any role or position he had. As the O'Jays sing it...."don't you call me 'Brother'...unless you really, really, mean it..." Rahn was like a Brother to me. . Let me describe it as Smokey Robinson sings it......"It's really gonna be different without you....things won't be the same...but there's a higher power that we answer to...and you heard him calling your name...time came when you had to go....we're all gonna miss everything about you....really gonna miss your smiling face....I miss you my Buddy/Brother...I miss you my Friend...."
At precisely 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 3oth, another IBN team member who couldn't be in Jersey and I were on our knees with hands joined, praying that God's Peace, comfort, and covering, would engulf; Rahn's Wife, Children, Family, and all of us who knew and loved him, during this time of loss. We said "farewell" to Rahn, and prayed that he is "at Peace, and resting, as he is seated at the right hand of the Father".
